Community Edition (commonly known as CE) is an open-source VPN project. It uses a GPL license and has a vast community backing it up. Besides that, many developers contribute to the project as well as a wider community of users.
Openvpn License Hack
Depending on your perspective, this can go either way. OpenVPN can run many different ciphers and protocols, but this agility brings with it more complexity, a larger attack surface for hackers to exploit, and possible susceptibility to downgrade attacks.
WireGuard is very secure. It uses faster, state-of-the-art secure ciphers and algorithms. Its small codebase makes it easier to audit while offering a smaller attack surface for anyone trying to hack it. But perhaps most importantly WireGuard,
To legally watch broadcast television in the UK, viewers need to buy a TV license. Currently, one of those costs 145.50 per year but there are signs that the numbers of those investing in one have been dwindling.
These variables and numerous others mean that TV Licensing would have huge difficulty trying to use Internet technology to track down unlicensed iPlayer users in the same way that copyright holders might track down BitTorrent pirates.
While the latter knows for sure that no one has permission to be sharing files, the former has no idea whether there is a licensed person behind any IP address. On that basis, getting a court to force ISPs to hand over details would be unlikely, if not impossible. Even if that did happen, the chances of the person having a license or some other mitigating circumstance would be extremely high indeed.
But of perhaps more importance are the chances of TV Licensing and the BBC even trying. By their own estimations around 94% of households have a valid TV license, which means that around the same percentage of UK IP addresses accessing iPlayer are doing so legally. That is not a particularly good starting point for weeding out pirates.
But for those who are truly cautious (or simply using one anyway), accessing the iPlayer from a VPN service is also a possibility. In tests carried out this morning, a properly licensed TF tester accessed iPlayer from three separate VPN services without any issues whatsoever.
In this case pfSense is your operating system where you will run openvpn server on (keeps you from having to burn a windows OS license). If you know linux you can setup openvpn on that. While I haven't (ever) done this you may be able to run the openvpn server on a windows platform too. You would just use the config files from my post.
You may be better served by setting up an openvpn server inside your network then just use port forwarding from your firewall to your internal openvpn server. You didn't mention the number of traveling clinets involved here, but your openvpn server may scale better. But again with opevpn you would need the free client. Openvpn has an advantage over an ipsec vpn in that openvpn does not care about natted interfaces.
You will also need the openvpn client software. You will need to do a hack because the openvpn client needs to run as a local administrator. Somewhere in my posts I have the instructions on how to launch the openvpn gui on login using the task scheduler to raise the privileges.
You will need a PKI infrastructure setup to create the ssl keys. You can use the microsoft CA to create a self signed certificate. You will need the root public key and then create a private key for your openvpn server and one or more private keys for your clients.
This session token seems to be generated securely, as it takes ten bytes from urandom, appends the current system time, and applies a HMAC. The HMAC key is a 32byte subsection of /usr/local/openvpn_as/etc/tmp/auth_token_key which was again generated securely, so there's no way in here that I can see!
I must admit, I did a lot of auditing and research of the AS codebase before I thought to try the 'simple things'. It was near the end of the audit when I tried inserting some HTML control characters into the username field, to be rewarded with a simple XSS. Here's the result of creating the a user with the username openvpn"); alert('watchTowr rules OK'); return false; showHideControl(" , browsing to the user list in the admin UI, and expanding the relevant entry:
This includes access to 380+ servers in 32 countries, coverage of up to 5 devices under one license, P2P torrenting, and dedicated Tor servers.

For active-passive HA cluster, you must activate the licenses on the device you've configured as the initial primary. Don't activate them on the auxiliary device. The cluster then uses the licenses of the primary device.
Delete the current configuration by typing DELETE at the prompt. Next, accept the license agreement and press ENTER to mark this as the primary server. In the next prompt, select (1) all interfaces: 0.0.0.0 to bind to all interfaces. This will ensure that the access server is available in spite of a bind error in the OpenVPN installer. Press ENTER to accept the default values of the remaining prompts.
